Margarita Karpenko is a partner in employment & benefits and commercial practices. She is an experienced lawyer working with clients from various sectors of business, including production, media, technology and FMCG. Margarita advises on a wide range of corporate, employment and labour law issues.

Margarita is an experienced lawyer practicing for more than 30 years. Prior to joining Imagine Lawyers Margarita had hold senior positions in Andersen and Ernst&Young business consulting firms running legal practices there. From 2005 she served as the Managing Partner of DLA Piper’s Kyiv office recognized as the Best International Law Firm of the Year within the contests of Yurydychna Practica journal.

Margarita is known at the legal market as a reputable lawyer capable to advice on complicated legal projects. In 2009 Margarita was recognized as the best Managing Partner of a law firm in Ukraine within the contest of Yurydychna Practica journal. She initiated and managed DLA Piper scholarship program aimed at selection of the best students of the Ukrainian law schools and awarding them with professional awards (internship programs with the offices of DLA Piper and scholarships).
