Margarita Karpenko took part in the WoBua Exclusive Breakfast with Lisa Kaestner

Margarita Karpenko, partner of Imagine Lawyers, took part in an exclusive, off-the-record breakfast with Lisa Kaestner, IFC Country Manager for Ukraine, on 1 October 2024. The breakfast was arranged by Women on Boards Ukraine, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering women in leadership roles in Ukraine and advancing the presence of women in corporate boardrooms.  

In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, WoBua members had a unique opportunity to hear insights about the IFC’s role in Ukraine and its commitment to Ukraine, illustrated by continuous investments during the war. Members discussed the potential for private investments into the country and prerequisites for new investors to prioritise towards Ukraine. During active discussions and exchange of opinions, we also touched upon the topic of diversity at the key decision-making tables.
