Galyna Zagorodniuk Spoke at the XVIII Corporate Law Forum of the Ukrainian Bar Association
On 24 October 2025 Imagine Lawyers Partner Galyna Zagorodniuk took part in the XVIII Corporate Law Forum organised by the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) – a long-standing meeting point for colleagues, peers and friends who shape the future of corporate law in Ukraine.
This year’s discussions focused on harmonising Ukrainian corporate legislation with EU standards, new approaches to corporate governance, modern dispute-resolution practices, and the transformation of corporate behaviour in wartime conditions.
In her speech, Galyna Zagorodniuk shared insights on how the M&A landscape has evolved during the war, what structuring and contractual trends are now emerging, and how innovative mechanisms can help parties overcome challenges and bring greater deal certainty. Her remarks drew on Imagine Lawyers’ hands-on experience advising on landmark M&A transactions for the Ukrainian market.
The Forum brought together legal practitioners, academics and business leaders for an open discussion on the alignment of Ukrainian law with EU norms, evolving court practice, modern corporate-governance trends and practical innovations that are already reshaping the way business operates in Ukraine.
